Science

Our children cannot get enough of Science, either in lessons or in Science Club...

Science Club takes place on a Monday lunchtime. It is an opportunity for our children to carry out lots of exciting experiments and further develop their knowledge of sciencific concepts and science in the real world. So far this year they have: made helicopters, built bridges, investigated air resistance and made their own telephones from cups!

We work closely with our feeder middle school, Highfield, who offer our year 4 children the opportunity to go and explore science further in their laboratories. This is always a highlight and something our children really look forward to as they progress through school.

We also love to participate each year in British Science Week.
