Uniform
On ‘normal’ days:
Plain grey trousers (not jeans or leggings), shorts, skirt or dress, or red/white checked summer dress. (Grey joggers/leggings are allowed in preschool/nursery)
Bright red or white long or short sleeved polo shirt.
Bright red sweatshirt or cardigan (or school fleece body-warmer).
White, grey, or black socks or tights.
Plain black school shoes, boots or trainers (which your child can fasten independently).
On ‘PE’ days:
Plain grey or black jogger bottoms, black shorts, or black leggings, or school logo PE tracksuit bottoms.
Bright red round neck t-shirt.
Bright red sweatshirt or cardigan (or school logo grey PE tracksuit top).
White, grey, or black socks.
Plain black trainers (which your child can fasten independently).
Please note: the uniform does not have to have the Prudhoe West logo on it –plain jumpers, polo shirts etc. are fine as long as they are the right colour/style.
Branded uniform can be bought from Salto UK, Low Prudhoe.
Red reading folders, caps, fleeces, school coats and hi-visibility jackets can also be bought.
The clothing/ footwear that your child wears to school must be clearly marked with your child’s name. Everything should be simple enough for your child to manage independently – eg. velcro fastenings on shoes, elastic waistband on trousers.
With the exception of a watch (once a child can tell the time), earrings and jewellery must not be worn
Uniform Swap Shop
What is the Uniform Swap Shop?
The Uniform Swap Shop is a collection of pre-loved uniform items. It was created for parents by parents in an effort to reuse uniform items that are still in good condition.
What is the Uniform Swap used for?
The Uniform Swap serves many purposes, which include:
- When a student joins Prudhoe West and needs uniform items, some uniform basics can be selected from the Uniform Swap Shop. These items can be kept and worn by the student or used for sizing and returned.
- When a student outgrows current uniform items and needs items in a different size.
- Not only does this support parents financially, it is also a far more eco-friendly approach, supporting our commitment to sustainability.
Donate Items
Items can be donated by bringing them into the school office in a carrier bag. Please ensure all names/identification have been removed from all items before donating.
We accept all uniform items (with or without logo), including PE kit, as well as good quality school shoes, black trainers, wellies and coats/jackets.
